Blog 10

Help. I need your help. If I don't get it, next week's blog will be awful. Very bad. Send in your questions and I will answer them. It's that simple. OK, within reason. I will answer questions about what it's like to become handicapped for no apparent reason and by that I mean I wasn't skydiving. Anyway, I'm going to tell you not to park in handicapped parking spots unless you have a serious medical condition and your doctor has signed a form attesting to that fact. Don't. Just don't.

I have a handicapped parking placard but I only use it at work. I could use it at Walmart or some such place but I don't, I just don't. You are a big reason why I don't. I may need to someday but not yet.
Do you remember the physical therapist man-handling you when you were in the hospital for pneumonia? I'm sure you do. Did you wonder if I was ever going to do something about it? I'm sorry I didn't step in sooner but I was so grateful that I was there to stop it. I love you so much Alison.

This is Jeremiah's fiancé, Claire! What's it like to be married to a Wilson? Lol! Guess I'll find out in under three months! Can't wait to meet you at the wedding, Alison! Where in the world would you like to visit? If you've never been to Poland or Prague, I can highly recommend them! I love them both! What hobby do you still enjoy, outside of writing? I love reading your blog! Thank you for sharing! God bless you!

What is your biggest focus on in therapy right now? What are your goals by the end of the summer? I think I saw where you and Chris have been going to some movies? What is a favorite that you have? Do you think that you will ever go and speak to people about what happened to you....like a tour? It would be very encouraging!!

What is your favorite thing at this point? Besides Chris lol! New equipment, trips out, soft awesome sheets? When I was sick with cancer it was soft, fresh sheets that made my day. I'm sure writing is high on the list for you, I always really look forward to reading each post!
Thanks for sharing,
Patty

Do you make Kelsey give you foot rubs? If not she is really good at it! ;) What's it like having my wife work for you? I hope you work her hard, it's good for her!

Hi Alison...have you looked into doing acupuncture? My 8 yr old son has had 5 strokes and I've been trying acupuncture with him. His speech has greatly improved. You are an inspiration! Paula
