6/3 Update

Alison and I had a pretty uneventful day in Lincoln today. We watched an episode of Swamp People and just took it pretty easy. I did talk with her about selling our house, and she took it well. She was sad, but so am I about it. But we talked through it, had a good cry, and moved on. We decided the best word to sum up the decision was prudent. I definitely feel better that I'm not having to keep secrets from her and that she's still somewhat involved in these big life decisions. I'll return to KC tomorrow afternoon; we have a wheelchair evaluation in the morning to figure out the best possible chair for her when we eventually move on to the next step. But her brother will come until Wednesday. We currently have a brief gap in coverage for Alison on Thursday. So if anyone wants to come hang out for a day, let me know. : ) It's really not a big deal if no one is there. During the week, she stays pretty busy with therapy sessions, so there's not a lot of down time anyway. But I've had a nice weekend with my wife. Thanks for all of your continued support.
